I do like the QB run game.. maybe not running 20 times a game, but enough to make it a threat and something you have to honor. I think it really stresses defenses.
I'm not a fan of pro style offenses and I'm not sure Nebraska can recruit it.

Agree.
One thing though, is that Riley gets his WRs involved in the run game via Jet motion. WRs tend to get about 40 carries a year in his system, so its safe to say that the number of actual Jet plays run is at least twice that, if not x3.
For comparison, in Beck's offense it was about 5 WR totes per year.
During the program's glory years, NU's offensive line came to be known as "The Pipeline." Each season from 1970 to 2001, the Huskers produced at least one first-team all-conference offensive lineman. An amazing run, if you think about it.

Nebraska finished unranked in final AP rankings. Unranked in 2013. No. 25 in 2012. No. 24 in 2011. No. 20 in 2010. No 14. in 2009.

I was looking at OSU future schedules and it appears that OSU and Nebraska play 4 years in a row from 2016-19. I'm not exactly sure how on earth that's possible if the league is aiming for balanced scheduling. They also draw Wisky (and NW) twice. Weird. Probably not exactly great news for UNL either.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
