They had their best day shooting in years last night…thats not who they are. If NU or Creighton had shot like that, theyd be on the bus back to Waco right now.
baylor was off... couldn't hit anything vs UNL. Yet UNL shot 63% in the second half.
the refs allowed baylor to maintain a lead... and when it got within 9, the fouls came again. 48 vs 16 is all you one needs to say
Baylor is beatable.. and yea, they might win more than they lose in a series vs UNL, but the refs gave them pts when they couldn't get any... that's my beef. it was 8 on 5.. not 5 on 5
I don't think we closed from 22 to 9 points ent. Its impossible...Baylor is way too much better for that to have happened. That's why they didn't lose, like, eleven games this year.
UNL had a great season..without a low post presence... and without a true point guard. They were not going to make a run to the final 4..
but they play good defense... running into a crew that doesn't allow physical defense hurts. that crew has a reputation that certain ACC teams and tourney teams like Louisville don't like..
Grammar... The difference between feeling your nuts and feeling you're nuts.
The Huskers will be a basketball team to be reckoned with for years to come. They made everybody notice this year. They won't be an easy spot on anyone's schedule.
