Bo has skated by on an obscene amount of luck to this point. Not just the fluke plays in various comeback wins, or injuries to key opposing players at opportune times, scheduling quirks, or miraculous field goals, but also the timing of the move to the B1G. I am certain that we’d have a different head coach right now if we’d stayed in the Big 12. Not saying that I wish we had, just making an observation...I don’t need to tell anybody here that quarterback play, and offenses in general, are struggling in the league.
The odds dictate that the fundamental flaws with his program will catch up to him eventually. Those flaws are deep and prevalent enough that I wondered this off-season if they may not be exposed, even with a schedule as weak as the one we have in 2013. The typical contagious preseason optimism steered me away from that thought for a while, but now I have circled back to thinking I may have been correct. He has enough arrogance and ignorance about him to make any task unachievable.
MSU, PUS and Ill are 50/50 at best.. MSU is a bad matchup if UNL's offense continues to struggle (if you can't move the ball on UCLA, MSU will crush you), PSU is a road game with physical OL and DL.. Ill can score points
Grammar... The difference between feeling your nuts and feeling you're nuts.
I don't think we should be looking past IL either. We have played similar schedules to this point, have the same record, and our stats are pretty much neck-and-neck across the board. They have a couple big, strong backs and a QB who can move.
