        Your point was to insinuate Osborne hadn't led Nebraska to national glory (That was his standard, not "win") in five years...it is also wrong.

        Besides which, he didn't say it wouldn't happen if it hadn't occurred in the first five years, just that it probably wouldn't. I'd wager the statistics are on his side. The trends in regards to Bo's tenure definitely are.

          our 2 greatest coaches took more than 5 yrs to win it all...

          your opinion of Bo doesn't matter in context of what I suggested was a stupid comment.

                ...and our last three coaches had the program headed downhill after five years. As did the guy who proceeded our two most successful ones. So, as I said, the statistics support him.

                          my thoughts... while UW would be a better opponent, the BIG would take a game that potentially could be national (Neb vs UW) and replace it with a game that would probably be on the BTN (neb vs Iowa). the black friday game would always be national
