  • Not sure about that. Bielema really wanted to "earn" the trip and, I think he worked hard to that end. I doubt he was spending too much time on N the last two weeks of the season.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
    Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

      Yes.
70 points? Damn shame Denard was injured, we would of spared you guys the embarassment. I doubt your rectum will ever function properly again.

We had the Callahan years... We don't even feel it anymore.

          • I am very much looking forward to getting back into officiating on Saturdays next fall...so I don't have to watch UNL like I was able to this year.

                • Pelini should have been fired in the locker room after the game.

Pelini should have been fired in the locker room at halftime.

                    Fixed that for you.

                    • Probably not enough time to negotiate the buyout.

But seriously, Pelini needs to go. That kind of disgrace is inexcusable.

                      • I can't believe he was Gene Smith's first choice last year, if "insiders" are to be believed. And it's almost impossible for me to underestimate the depths of Smith's stupidity.

                        • No shit. At least Callahan never portrayed himself as a "defensive guru". Pelini is a sham as a head coach. He is a coordinator and probably a marginal one at that. UNL needs to move on and with a new regime coming in (new AD) I think Bo will in the very least be told he needs to replace several assistants and needs to do more recruiting wise. He may have 2013 to save his job. Frankly he may choose to leave soon...word is Auburn really wants him. He could very well take that job.

Lets not get carried away here. You guys were barely scoring at all when he went down. These guys had 42 points and almost 400 yards at halftime, very little of it having to do with their QB play.

They were smart enough to utilize UCLA?s approach...UM was not.
