What's really tragic is that its possible that an undefeated B1G team is going to be sitting at home because a handful of players decided to break the rules, ... and their coach covered it up.
The fans and alumni of that school should be telling the school administration to never, ever allow such a thing to take place in their program again....
.... but, alas .. most of them think they did nothing wrong, and that the punishment they are serving is unjust ....I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle

The rule breaking by the players wasn't why they will stay at home, the lying coach who covered everything up under the rug is the reasonDan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

I wouldn't assume any tragedy here. We know that what has been publicized is the tip of the iceberg. Those kids chose to go to OSU and were recruited by Tressell. For some of them, they probably would have come whether Tressell paid them, set them up with handlers who managed that, or took a dump on their front lawns. And some of them maybe arrived without eyes wide open. But you're talking about very few. When the Ohio football program is in question, guilt by association is appropriate 95% of the time. The only thing that's a shame is that they weren't punished appropriately.
