I agree that the RFK appointment was cringe-worthy. If he wanted a Kennedy on his cabinet, there's likely one or two others that'd make more sense, and could be considered sane. I doubt that RFK will be in that office for Trump's full term. And putting Musk in control of identifying government waste is another one that I cringe a bit at. Let Musk play with his own toys instead of ours. He's like the Jerry Jones of government appointments.
But Trump is not a politician. He's proven that for years now. He'll blurt out all sorts of craziness just to get the headlines, and gain attention. The Gaza thing is a fine example. Those ragheads don't want a resort. They want a launching pad for terror attacks against Israel. They'll never agree to something that would actually help their own people. Its funny how many of those rich Arab countries harumph and snort at ideas like that, when they themselves want absolutely nothing to do with the "palestinians". Both Egypt and Jordan absolutely refuse to allow their "brothers" to locate in their countries. Saudi wants NOTHING to do with the "palestinians". But, they'll gripe and bellyache when an idea like Trump's comes along. That is one strange situation over there.
