Levine was two steps below the position RFK will hold and is probably the only Assistant Secretary of HHS anyone here can even name because the perpetually outraged Right was obsessed with her.
Sam Brinton wasn't even in a Senate-confirmable position and lasted 6 months before getting fired. If they had been any run of the mill dude no one would have ever heard of him or have cared.
But they were considered qualified people for the Biden Administration. Leaders. The best America can offer.
I get that you are opposed to anything Trump, but Tulsi Gabbard is highly qualified for the job she's been nominated for. I'd put her on the same level as Marco Rubio.
RFK was a political stunt, and if he's confirmed, I'll be surprised.
I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle
Gabbard's an out-of-work hack who flipped parties because she needs a job. She taught Assad the meaning of Mahalo in a private meeting though. Guess that's bonus points.
Rubio, Bessent, Ratcliffe, Burgam, Lee Zeldin, Pam Bondi? Fine. Not people I'd choose but nothing genuinely disqualifying about any of them. Rubio had zero votes "no".
Gaetz, Hegseth, Gabbard, RFK, and Kash Patel? All trash. Opportunists and sycophants.
Hey, Strangelove, what is the prog take on Trump locking out the USAID overlords?
Also, why do the Dems filibuster Sen. Kennedy's bill to force the sharing of the "Dead List" with other government entities? It appears that there are 6.5 million people who are 112 years old in the US, and the SSA refuses to cull its rolls. Why? Sen Kennedy gave a speech on the matter recently, and he is proposing eliminating dead people from receiving checks from the government. He proposed the same law in 2020, but Dems insisted that the law expires after 3 years. I wish I were more literate on how to post videos to this forum, but there is a 2:41 video of his speech to the Senate.
What you and the rest of the progs keep secret is that you don't actually care how much taxpayers' money is shoveled out the door because more money into the economy always stimulates the economy, a pure Keynesian concept. It masks the enormous costs of regulation.
I hope Lee Zelden's first act as EPA administrator is to take the delta smelt off the Endangered or Threatened Species list. That would eliminate CAs reason for not sending water from the north to the south. I live in AZ in the winter months, and I can say that there should not be a single drop of snowmelt fresh water reaching the ocean anywhere in the SW.
We got them to post a job opening. The war on drugs is won, my friend.
Well, actually, Canada has committed to spending $ 1.3 billion to upgrade border security. Chump change for the deep state, but better than a job listing.

Which Canada announced before Trump even took office. I'll post the Dominic Pino piece yet again if you can't scroll back to find it.

At least we know that Trump is not bashful about firing high-level administrators if they do not do his bidding. Let's see how this plays out.
At least we can be assured the female Blackhawk pilot was highly qualified and intelligent because she was also one of the "Big Guys" social media aids in her other job....

Her family initially wanted her name kept private because they knew people would blame her for everything, without evidence, simply because she was the only woman involved in the helicopter, plane, or on the ground.
And now some of the worst people on the planet are spreading lies about her and smearing her in death.

Lobach was undergoing the annual proficiency evaluation that every pilot faces, which includes physical and psychological exams, as well as simulated day and nighttime missions with an instructor pilot “to make sure the teachings are still there,” she said. Lobach would not have been in charge of that flight, although she was qualified, because it was an evaluation, she said.
She also wasn't Biden's social media aide. She was a White House military social aide, which is something quite different. That's her in the military uniform below.
Whoever was flying the helicopter bears the greatest responsibility. There are likely other factors but if Lobach was, indeed, flying 150 feet above the ceiling, she will ultimately be remembered as the culprit. It sucks for her family but like an ordinary car accident, one of the operators is at fault.
I don’t know why it took so long for the helicopter pilot info to be released but it didn’t seem transparent and that feeds into wild speculation/accusations.
