The first 3 days of DJT2 is about what I'd expect. Some stuff I absolutely disagree with (roughly 1-2% of the pardon/commutation; the EO on birthright citizenship) and some stuff I absolutely agree with -- Remain; Obliterating DEI. And he remains uniquely contemptible.

But, that's politics. Even though I abstained, the choice -- if one was made -- is to pick the complete bag of policies and person that aligns with you more.

What the Ds don't understand is that "uniquely contemptible" isn't sufficient when (a) for the policies of the day/election, your positions are unpopular; and (b) you run a candidate that is uniquely bad -- not as contemptible -- but one that is obviously not up for the job.

As a matter of politics, if I were the Ds I'd take the time to point out that DJT has pardoned EVERYONE, including some bad folks. And then wait. He owns that. If/when those assclowns go off the rails, then their conduct lands squarely on DJT. That's all you need to do. As a matter of politics, January 6 is a fucking loser at this point in time. I mean, DJT WON.

I'd also try to find a way middle the immigration issue -- or, hell, cave. D policies were absolutely laid bare during The Chairman's reign. And rejected bigly.

Finally, I'd make DJT govern. He's promised to fix lots of shit. So, fix it. And if he fails, well -- you win bigly. I mean, the Rs fought The Chairman tooth and nail on his massive, inflationary spending and held out as long as Manchin/Sinema kept their damn minds. But, eventually The Chairman got what we wanted. And, of course, he even owned it with "Bidenomics" -- LMMFAO. And, well...

Oh, and yeah -- I'd avoid taking positions that are humiliatingly stupid.
