From Reagan’s second inauguration. The Rotunda can only hold a few hundred people, I don’t know why they don’t do it in the House chamber instead. Maybe get 1,000 in there.

In local news Lt. Gov. Jon Husted will take JD Vance's Senate seat. Husted is a fairly bland Republican in the DeWine non-MAGA mold. Rumors flying Vivek intends to run for Governor in 2026. His main competition would be Dave Yost, our AG, who's already declared.
More federal indictments of people involved in the biggest bribery scheme in Ohio history. If Trump pardons anyone connected to this I will vomit.

In the danger to democracy category ...
Chairman Joe declared today that the ERA (remember that?) was now the law of the land.
This is no joke.
He said that the ERA is now law, and is the 28th Ammendment to the Constitution.

Coming back to a fact check of the claimed proportion of Israeli's that support the ceasefire deal with Hamas as 72/13 for it, yes, among the general public that is accurate. However, when it comes down to the government's willingness to sign off on it, the sort of overwhelming support for the deal among Israeli Citizens, is not shared by government officials appointed to vote on it (which they just did within the last 6h).
You can read the link below, if you're interested, that exposes the political biases both for and against the deal. These led to expressions of the "moral imperative" of bringing the hostages home set against the unobtained goals of destroying the political and military capabilities of Hamas. That leaves the threat to the security of Israel unabated.
The article also touches on the side-show that is Netanyahu's concern that if the war ends he becomes vulnerable to criminal prosecution related to long standing corruption charges against him. Many analysts believe that this alone motivated Netanyahu to avoid signing a peace deal with Hamas.
