Its good to see adults returning to the room with Trump's nominees.
I particularly enjoyed Hegseth's interractions with both Gary Peters and Elisa Slotkin.
Peters looked lost without having Stabenow telling him what to do, and he looked like he was a couple sheets to the wind already.
Slotkin sounded like a sophomore cheerleader who lost out on dating the football captain. All of their attempts at 'gotcha' moments against Hegseth were face plants.
Michigan sure sends some characters to the US Senate. One day maybe, just maybe they'll get it right. But they'll have to wait until Peters' term is up.

I also enjoyed Pam Bondi's testimony where she smacked Adam Schiff upside the head when she said that using the Justice Department as a weapon would end under her tenure.

And although I'm pleased to see that the war between Hamas and Israel has an agreement in place, I just think its a horrible shame that Israel is giving up convicted murderers to rescue dead hostages' bodies. And Hamas can keep some hostages until other "goals" are reached in this agreement. Its sickeninig.

Yep......ceasefire, right? WIthin days of it's taking affect on Sunday, there will be claims on both sides that the other side broke promises. This is a political stunt with mostly the Biden administration involved with supporting characters from Arab countries. Some officials don't think there is enough meat in the agreements. The language in them is vague, on purpose, to get the two sides to sign something. Biden, particularly interested in a legacy motivated, mostly meaningless agreement to claim he resolved the conflict. He did no such thing and the coming days and weeks will prove it.
