Interpreting all this I see the following:
1. Trump doesn't want US soverignty over Greenland. He wants the Danish government to agree to let the US have more of a military presence there in the face of what Russia and China are doing in the Arctic. From the way the Danish government has responded, he will likely get what he wants.
2. He doesn't want Canada to be a US state. He wants Canada to bargain in good faith on a new trade agreement, and he wants them to control the flow of illegals and drugs over their border. I suspect he will get that also, when Canadians elect a new Trudeau-less government.
3. And the Gulf thing is a joke. Nobody cares what name they attach to the Gulf. Its a jab at Mexico to get their act together on illegal drugs and their failure to control their own border, and a subtle hint that if they don't do it, we will.
In other words, Trump means business. He's not going to spend his entire term giving the wacko elite their complete laundry list of demands. Like Biden has. I think even a lot of Democrats hope that he keeps his promises.
