With regard to the Nevada situation, there's reporting now that there are tens of thousands of people who voted Trump and left the rest of the ballot blank. Rosen survived more thanks to that rather than true vote-splitting. That tracks with people that are first-time voters or infrequent voters that are there just for one race. Trump got 60,000+ more votes than Sam Brown did.Comment

DSL, CGVT. Froot, et. al. We've been down this road before. Conservatives here liked most of Trump's policy initiatives during his first presidency and likely will like most of what he and his administration come up with over the next 4 years. He's still a first class dick head prone to impulsivity - that's a concern. The two choices for the presidency were not ideal. I'm FAR more anti-progressive Left than I am pro-Trump. Like most people, I vote against things not for them. In 2020 Biden was the only D I voted for hoping that there would be a divided government while jettisoning Trump in the process. I supported Biden in the primary because he represented the "moderate/centrist" wing of the party. Then it quickly became obvious that there is no moderate/centrist wing of the D party.
