The Philly number seems bad (for Dems) but in 2020 75% of the vote also came Election Day.

The final 538 prediction has flipped to Harris 51/49 winning the EC 270-268. I also think that will be the final number but she could add Nevada for 277. She will sweep the blue wall states and I wouldn't be surprised if she keeps Georgia, too.

Only way that Trump wins is if the polls are significantly off in the Ds direction and my gut feeling is that not only have they been corrected for D preference, they've probably been overcorrected.

Well, the Rs seem pretty certain to win the Senate. And I'd guess the Ds win the House by a very narrow margin. So, at least two years of gridlock. But one of those two fucks will run the administrative state. Harris will do far more damage in that regard. DJT will be far more insufferable. It just makes me want to kill The_Wizard

Anecdotal reporting of heavy in-person turnout in Franklin, Hamilton, and Cuyahoga counties. Only mentioning it for the possible survival of Sherrod Brown. I don't think Kamala has a chance.

IMO, if Harris is within 5 of DJT in Ohio, then the Prog Brown wins. Anything beyond that, and I have a hard time seeing THAT many people splitting their ballots.

But, it obviously looks like everything is going splendidly for the Progs today. Outstanding.

The only reason it's even in question is because Harris, in exhibiting her trademark disastrously bad decision-making, went with the Minnesota Prog instead of Shapiro. If she had picked Shapiro then this is so over.

Then again, Shapiro is good and would have thus outshone her something fierce -- so she went with the one dude who isn't able to outshine her...by much.

I wonder if they wanted Shapiro but he didn't want to be tied to her. He has a future to think about and possibly losing to Donald Trump as the #2 to Cackles would be catastrophic to his career arc.
