I was just reading speculation that Trump was underperforming among white people in NC and now the campaign says that he’ll be there four times in the next three days. Seems to confirm they’re a little concerned and that’s probably a can’t lose state for him.

Don’t have to believe this but Nate Cohn and Nate Silver both said today that pollsters could be intentionally herding and tweaking results toward Trump because they’re nervous about underestimating him a third straight election.

The race has been remarkably stable and it looks like the polls are herding, but it's anyone's guess if there is flooding error or what direction it may go. I'll say this, in 2016 there were clearly shy Trump voters, I don't think that is the case in 2024. They are the noisiest supporters you can imagine. But it still doesn't mean they are answering poll questions
