Bud Light only when I'm a guest and there's literally nothing else. We have a big Budweiser plant in Columbus so it's served everywhere. I wonder if restaurant sales are hurting as much as retail/cans? Someone can correct me but I thought profits were much bigger at bars/restaurants.

If Bud Light has been your favorite beer for decades, to the extent that you will only go to bars and restaurants that carry it, and then you quit it because they ran a hard-to-find ad featuring a weirdo, you are absolutely a profound, contemptible loser. You deserve ridicule everywhere you go. In church, at work, at the park. Children should mock you and throw pine cones at you. Move to an island of lepers, son, civilization can afford to lose you.
The best sipping beer that you can easily find is Left Hand Milk Stout. The best high gravity sipping beer you can (fairly) easily find is Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter. You either agree with that or you’re wrong, asshole.
I will brook no further discussion on this matter. Dismissed.

If I’m guzzling a mass produced American-style light beer with wings or delicious haggis (or whatever) it’s Miller Lite 1st, meh Coors Light 2nd. Bud Light and Ultra have an off taste to me, so if I can’t get my first two choices I usually avoid and will go with something that’s not technically light but is just as guzzable (Pacifico, Yuengling, PBR, whatever).

Agree with all that. Bud Light and Ultra just horrific. Honestly, Busch Light is better and usually cheaper. Coors Banquet is probably my favorite of the big macro beers but I never see it on tap here in the east so Miller Light is usually the choice when out at a chain restaurant. Among Mexican cheap beer I will go Modelo #1, Pacifico #2"The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

I think that Corona Premier is starting to make some inroads in the low cal/low carb beer market. Starting to see it on tap more often. I have not tried it, but those that I talk to that drink it seem to think it's pretty good.
BTW, Miller Lite actually tastes a bit like beer, the rest of the light beers aren't worth a shit. (acually Natty Light is drinkable)I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

Yellow jacket stubbies and PBR. Those are my supplemental "American lagers" to accompany micros.
There's an excellent sours brewery in Columbus that I recommend. Tap room hours are spotty, but it's free ski ball and air hockey to go along with some very good and varied sours. Good summer drinking.
