In probably the most meaningful news of the day and likely week, the Supreme Court is going to take up the issue of Chevron deference and, IMO, is very likely to at least limit that holding. And that will be outstanding news.

That would be the best thing that a SC could possibly do: Radically alter Chevron's deference to bureaucrats. Make Congress vote on enabling statutes when bureaucrats try to do things that clearly can't pass Congress.

That would be an historic achievement.

The fact that some politicians can’t see what a huge issue illegal immigration and the security of our southern border has become is troubling. This, unchecked, will impact everything: The economy, crime, terrorism, and put even more of a strain on healthcare, education, and emergency responders.

If we had spent just a fraction of what we did with the Ukraine, this wouldn’t be nearly as bad.

Yeah. I think Abbott needs to adopt a 1:1 policy. Process one illegal immigrant, ship the next one to a “sanctuary city.”

The problem won’t be real for some until it’s in their own backyard. The diffusion of these illegals is slow to reach the interior of the country and by then, it’s too late. Truly a frog in a pot of water on the stove scenario.
