I would love to talk of economic issues what shall we talk about?
Food prices? Why there are quite a few food industries where there are only a few companies that control most of the market. Meaning it is easy for them to set prices as higher if they want.
The pending merger of Albertsons and Kroger raises concerns for me. Among them expanding of potential food deserts and lack of competition. On a much smaller scale I have seen this locally. Family Fare recently bought a local IG a few months ago and there are more empty shelves, less diverse product available and higher prices. Nearest options for competitive food prices are a good 25-35 miles away. That is an issue for some people.
It has been a pretty tight labor market. The FED response has been to jack up interest rates to force unemployment. On the state level, some state legislatures solution has been to increase the amount of child labor that is allowed by lower minimum ages to work AND increase the amount of hours they work on school nights.

DSL's hero sounds off against women who won't support a man pretending to be a woman...
Controversial transgender swimmer Lia Thomas slammed her “feminist” adversaries as misogynistic transphobes who reduce women to the value of their reproductive abilities.
The NCAA gold medalist told fellow trans swimmer Schuyler Bailar that her own University of Pennsylvania teammates displayed fraud feministic beliefs when they wrote a 2022 letter asking the division to bar Thomas from competition.
“They’re like, ‘Oh, we respect Lia, as a woman, as a trans woman or whatever, we respect her identity, we just don’t think it’s fair.’ You can’t really have that sort of half-support where you’re like, ‘Oh, I respect her as a woman here, but not here,'” Thomas said in a Monday episode of Bailar’s new podcast “Dear Schuyler.”
Yep. This is where we are as a nation now. Criminy. Chicks with dicks...the new sacred cow of the Progs...Shut the fuck up Donny!

Oil companies are, indeed, handcuffed by their woke Wall Street overlords. It's all part of the Green New Deal, which already is partially in existence without legislation.
Food prices have skyrocketed in no small part because we are burning a substantial portion of the calories produced in the food industry as either ethanol or renewable diesel. A lot of those calories are not just consumed by humans, but by animals like chickens.
And it's going to get worse. Lots lots worse.
