        • The dynamic between Ron Desantis and Trump is getting interesting. There is suddenly elation in the Donald Trump camp that Desantis has attacked him and that’s the kiss of death (“He’s done! He just ended his campaign!”) Apparently the expectation is that political candidates should never criticize one another? I dunno – but the declarations that Desantis is done for remind me of a lot of the premature announcements of Trump’s political death, back in 2016.

          • Trump and Trump-world are terrified of DeSantis. So, yeah.

Partly. The hosts really won’t let him leave, either.

                • Welp, it's not the first time nor will it be the last that DJT and his dones demand violating the law (in this case, Federal law) to demonstrate adequate fealty to DJT.

It's also not suprising that this particular asshat would advocate disavowing Federal law on state-to-state extradition. Perhaps we just let any Governor decide whether to extradite. That way, say Gavin Newsome could create a safe haven for any number of criminals from, say, Texas.

And to add one more layer of dishonesty, every one of these asshats knows very well that Trump would never allow it to appear as if DeSantis protected or "saved" him. As most of us here have said, he's looking forward to the perp walk. They're demanding DeSantis break the law to do something for Trump that Trump himself doesn't want.

                    • Also it takes an enormous amount of shameless chutzpah to have your campaign Super Pac file an ethics complaint against DeSantis, demanding that he be impeached or resign, and one week later demand that same Governor vigorously and aggressively defend you against "The Left".

Asking Desantis to refuse to extradite Trump to an obvious kangaroo court trial, or to at least consider it, seems pretty reasonable to me. It's another partisan witch hunt in a heavily Democrat district where there's no way that Trump will get a fair trial. Ron is going to face voters nationally next year, so he'll have to answer for it if he does it. (he probably won't though).

If Gavin Newsome wants to make his state a haven for out-of-state murderers, then let him answer to his voters. If a Democrat were being charged with bullshit crimes in an overwhelmingly red district where that guy had no chance of getting a fair trial, then he would be within his rights to refuse to hand over a political prisoner.

If Ron Desantis is obligated to extradite Trump, regardless of circumstance, then what's to stop any overzealous prosecutor from coming up with a contrived crime in a super partisan district and charging somebody in another state with that crime?

Reporting now that the grand jury isn't even meeting today so no indictment once again! WTF! Come on!

Anyways DeSantis must make clear IMMEDIATELY that this non-existent indictment on unknwon charges is TOTALLY ILLEGAL and he will PERSONALLY meet the FBI at the Florida border and force them to back down!!!
