Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season

Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

Basically, it was a much larger version of THE_WIZARD_'s brain that achieved essentially the same outcomes. Decades later and we're watching ultra-HD porn on our phones. Glory be to god.

That is to say, first you prove the concept, then you work on scaleability.

I'd be in favor of government support for fusion research. I think that's the way to go. Especially if it could ever be adapted to cars, trucks, and home heating/cooling systems.
Hypothetically, it would generate unlimited carbon-free electricity. There is no way the global elites will ever allow it. Imagine the loss of control it would engender. Never happen. If it did pan out, it would be on par with fire and the internet.

This would be a good thing to watch in the press. Or, now, on Twitter.

If Republicans had the brains God gave an axhandle, the Rs would make a big deal about this and launch a "Manhattan Project" type government-financed all-hands-on-deck program to speed development. A big problem in this country is that our youth have been so propagandized about global warming killing the planet. I'd expect t to the kids to love the idea of basically free energy that costs 1/1,000 of what solar and windmills produce. Rs are rightly accused of being "against" things, but this would be something to be "for".
