I would think the blast would have come from below the road. The energy from explosives goes up and out. If it was a truck bomb, the road would actually shield the blast (somewhat) from the bridge’s structural support.

OTOH, I don’t know how opposing forces could rig the bridge with explosives without being detected.

There's another video going round that claims to be footage of this very truck being inspected by the police before being allowed onto the bridge. They barely glanced inside before letting it pass. And it was the going from the direction of Russia proper to Crimea (the bridge OUT of Crimea still stands). So if the truck was responsible the Ukrainians had a truck full of explosives driving around in Russia itself.

The only thing that matters for most people is the 8.5% steady Inflation that has increased since Biden has taken office. That silliness sure hasn't had any sort of immediate impact. After the game yesterday, my wife and I went out to dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants. We used to get dinner there for the two of us for about $30, including the tip. Yesterday the same dinner was nearly $45. So, yeah. Joe's economy is having an effect alright.

Hopefully, he won't cancel the COLA adjustment for Social Security this year.
