But Mike is correct that if the R's nominated anyone who wasn't so far out in the right field bleachers, we would be done with her and would start being treated like responsible adults again.
You are searching for a unicorn as a candidate. There is no such thing as a candidate that isn't a far right candidate. What you fellas are talking about is someone like Rick Snyder and those type have been firmly drummed out of the party. You have to be an election denier and a Trump lover. In a primary you have to win votes from guys like DaGeezer who thrill in calling people of Livonia ghetto dwellers.
You guys got the best candidate in Tudor Dixon compared to the alternatives.
If you think the post is bullshit, maybe you fellas can put forth some viable candidates that the Republican machine thwarted in Michigan. All of the candidates on the GOP ballot were fighting for Trump's endorsement and all of them have some sort of election denying in their statements. You might think it's bullshit because the truth hurts, but it's not bullshit. Whitmer could definitely lose, it's a close race at the moment, but this thought that if they just nominated a sane conservative republican then they would win by 10 points just doesn't ring true. A candidate beholden to Trump cannot win Oakland county by enough votes to make the math work.
Of course you know exactly what Clarenceville is like- so don't try to race bait.
And maybe stop assuming that everyone that doesn't like the Progs is obsessed with Trump. It's been made pretty clear, repeatedly, here, that none of us.
I'll give you that the R's really dropped the ball here. They came up with an absolutely lousy slate of candidates- regardless of any Trump affiliation, and have pretty much waved the white flag. It's a sheer coincidence, and nothing else, that it's a lot like the slate that they served up when they were trying to hide their concession to Hillary in 2016. But, again, SHEER COINCIDENCE.
So, now, how about telling us exactly WHY you think Whitmer, Tlaib, Stabenow, Peters, the Clintons, Biden and the Progs are so great.
For it not be a mess you would need changes in the party that you would call RINO. If you are trying to win swing voters you are going to moderate your policies that would go over like fart in church for you. It might be a mess for getting over 50 percent in nationwide or statewide elections but the Michigan GOP is totally what you want: Trump devotees that want to own the libs.

If you "only" make $125,000 and have student loan debt, then you're eligible for up to $10,000 in wealth transfers from folks who pay their taxes and loans.
I'm also sure that this indirect cash injection will be described as an "inflation reduction" act for good measure.
