I can’t read minds, only words. If my inability to read minds makes me obtuse so be it. I’d rather just be good at reading words. I do my best to make my words mean what I say. I don’t always succeed, but if I’m unclear I’m always happy to clarify. Personally, I prefer people know what my words mean one way or the other.

Not everyone tries to do that.

Also, there was the initial statement that said the similar thing (“most of country going blue” instead of “end”), so I’m not exactly sure why I wouldn’t take the same statement said twice at face value.

On to more interesting shit, Schumer was pounding the table for student debt cancellation. I hate to cite the Senate Majority leader because I’m sure that’s not fair. But it sure seems like the Ds want to cancel student loan debt.

They do realize that these debts don't just vanish into thin air, right? The Colleges aren't exactly going to give all of that money back, either.

But hey, If you really want to piss off the members of the electorate who actually play by the rules, abide by contracts and pay their debts, you can't think of a better way to do that than stiffing them with the bill for the student loan fiasco.

Second, i want to issue a disclaimer -- I can't read minds, so I really have no idea what Schumer (and other Ds) actually mean by their words.

But, if you go by, you know, what they say and what those words mean, then, EFZ, Tom. It's actually an issue that pisses my partisan D wife off beause, well, she played by the rules. It's also preposterously regressive and a wealth transfer from blue collar workers to elites. Which, I sort of get -- the Ds are now pretty much white collar elite. I mean, they fought (and fight) SALT tooth and nail, which is just a smaller version of this.
