Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season

Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

    • My wish is that this kind of bull-shit above is exposed as the huge danger to the nation that it is. We're a receptive audience to what we're seeing carrying our own biases into judgement. The risk is that not enough of "us" is going to get the important message the Rittenhouse trial is capable of conveying.

The judge in this case has an immense opportunity to speak on the kinds of "injustice" we see in our group here. The injustice I speak of isn't about racism or inequities - that's another story altogether. Its about the injustices being heaped on American citizens of all races, like Rittenhouse, that value the tenets of the US Constitution, jurisprudence that follows the law, civic responsibility and the maintenance of civil order by local governments.

Of course, that's not going to happen in this criminal court but Rittenhouse will undoubtedly take his case for compensation resulting from the injustice heaped on him before a civil court. It's here that it is likely to reach a federal district court on appeal. At that level, judges are expected to look at the bigger picture. The opportunity in a conservative court for such an opportunity is like manna from haven for a federal judge seeking notoriety and a willingness to call out the progressive and radical left for what unreasonable overreactions that have occurred since the George Floyd killing at the hands of police.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

      • I love the argument that he had a sling on his gun so that it wouldn't be taken away from him, yet he shot when someone was trying to take it away from him.

what? since he has a sling, he should just let a visibly aggressive person grab/control his rifle and lose his only defense against an angry mob?

"The Left would happily tear the constitution to shreds, cheer on prosecutorial misconduct and perjury, cut the law to pieces, embrace corruption and tyranny, and send an innocent man to prison to satisfy its lust for racial vengeance. That is what we are up against."

                        • Yeah, he was just excused. I am a bit surprised the defense didn’t follow-up to clear up some blatant prosecution misrepresentations.

                          • Eh, they can do it in closing. The important thing isn’t whether they scored points against him, it’s whether they damaged his credibility. You always lose points on cross. The goal is to have enough points built up on direct that you’re still comfortably ahead at the end.
