When I talk about "all or nothing" I'm talking about supporting long-term goals that may result in short-term LOSS OF POLITICAL POWER if the support turns off the public. I believe the Dems would pack the SC if they had the votes. I believe the Dems are willing to lose the House in 2022 to achieve a long-term goal of changing the demographics of the US. I believe the Dems are willing to risk political defeat in order to federalize elections. They are willing to surrender to terrorists in order to further globalism.

The Dems are true believers. They seek a global socialism-based equality of outcomes. Republicans NEVER are willing to lose power in exchange for achieving a long-term goal. Dems vote to eat. Republicans just want to be left alone.

As far as abortion, I see Republicans running against Roe, but it is a lot like "repeal and replace Obamacare..." When they have the power to actually do something, they back away. The same is true WRT abortion. Reps want the states to make the decision as to the abortion laws in their states. I can assure you that abortion on demand will exist after Roe is overturned, should that unlikely decision be handed down.
One benefit of the Texas law is a lot of lefties are moving away from Texas rather than to Texas.

One thing everybody should be able to agree on, you don't want to live in a society where potentially life saving medication becomes illegal for your doctor to prescribe, because of propaganda.

"Does anyone really believe the California Recall Election isn't rigged? Millions and millions of mail-in ballots will make this just another Election scam, no different, but less blatant, than the 2020 Presidential Election Scam!"

This is a great get-out-the-vote strategy btw. Worked great in Georgia.

Newsome would be in more danger if the California Republican were allowed to run as a California Republican. The problem is that nearly all our elections have become nationalized now and there's a ton of pressure for any Republican (or Democrat) to get in line with what the party's national media allies want to see. So Elder gets dragged well to the right of what is popular in California because 1) The party's base expects all "true" Republicans to vigorously praise and defend Trump and 2) Say things that play well in Tennessee or Arkansas instead where you're actually running.

California's had three multi-term Republican Governors in the past 40 years. Larry Hogan and Charlie Baker are successful multi-term Republican Governors in very liberal states who adapted the R platform to where they live.

                • It’s cute that anyone thinks a R can win statewide in California. I mean that screed can’t be about the difference between 60-40 and 58-42 and hence, heh, “more danger.”

                  I mean, Oprama beat Romney 60-37. I guess Romney wasn’t a California R.

Obama beat Romney 60-37 in Massachusetts too, and that was sort of Romney's home state. Three years later they elected a Republican Governor.

Obama beat Romney 62-36 in Maryland. Three years later they elected Larry Hogan

                    What makes California impossible?

I was stuck in DC the day of the woman's march in 2017, and I can tell you the Leftwing base would not be having ANY of it.

It was good to see them get some exercise that day if nothing else.

                        • This shouldn't surprise any one. Nor are doubts about reliability of most COVID data Hospitalizations data as a measure of disease impact is flawed.

Yet, we get mask mandates, school closures, travel restrictions, quarantine orders and the like from government officials relying on it.

There remains one counter to this that I've advocated for going on two months now. Even though new case numbers is a bad measure of where we are with COVID, it's what moves policy makers, public confidence and economic activity.

Lower them. It's indisputable how that's accomplished. Other COVID related debates are side shows.

Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
