Well, that's one way to look at it ........

........."Critical Race Theory" needs to be replaced by its more accurate description of Marxism-Leninism. I copied this straight from Wiki becasue it works:

Marxism–Leninism holds that a two-stage communist revolution is needed to replace capitalism. A vanguard party, organised hierarchically through democratic centralism, would seize power "on behalf of the proletariat" and establish a communist party-led socialist state, which it claims to represent the dictatorship of the proletariat. The state would control the economy and means of production, suppress the bourgeoisie, counter-revolution and opposition, promote collectivism in society and pave the way for an eventual communist society, which would be both classless and stateless.

There's a few twists in the "revolution" that is underway today. The Czars of the 18th century Eastern Europe were directly attacked to dis-empower them in the Russian Revolution of 1917. The holders of power in the American Republic aren't under direct attack. The Republic is being subverted by leftist ideals being inculcated in every educational institution in this country.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

      • Last month 59% of American adults said they are "thriving", an all-time high in the 13 years Gallup has kept track of "life ratings".

An estimated 59.2% of U.S. adults rate their lives well enough to be categorized as "thriving" exceeding the previous record-high estimate of 57.3% from 2017.

Jon: Here is a summary of what Citizens United did and did not do. The fact that the decision was 5-4 was and is outrageous. The FEC claimed control over the content of political advertising.

Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission is a 2010 Supreme Court decision that restored some of the First Amendment rights of corporations and unions that had been restricted under the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002. The case was brought by Citizens United, a nonprofit organization that wished to advertise and distribute a documentary film critical of Hillary Clinton in 2008. The Federal Election Commission threatened Citizens United with legal action if it aired or advertised its movie.

The case went to the Supreme Court. During oral arguments, the government asserted its power to prohibit corporate speech was so broad that it could even prohibit companies from publishing books that contained a single line advocating for or against a candidate. The Supreme Court ruled 5-4 in Citizens United’s favor on January 21, 2010. The ruling, a major victory for free speech and the First Amendment, held that the government cannot restrict corporations, associations, and labor unions from making independent expenditures in support of or opposition to candidates.

The Citizens United ruling was a victory for First Amendment rights. It eventually led to the creation of so-called super PACs – groups of like-minded Americans that independently engage in political speech advocating the election or defeat of candidates.

But, the FEC was able to stop the documentary film about Hillary Clinton in 2008, which was the real purpose of the FEC ruling.

          • For locals...seems that ODOT is taking a serious look at upgrading US 23 into a real highway the whole way between Columbus and Findlay OR a new highway possibly for part of the route. I saw a suggestion of running it from Marion southeast till it hits I-71 instead, which is probably more practical. Expanding 23 between Delaware and I-270 is almost completely impossible at this point.

            • There's almost no need for expanstion beyond Delaware and, as you noted, the area where congestion is the worst is virtually impossible to expand.

If you really want a highway from Columbus to Toledo (why, god, why?), then you probably need to build a new highway off of 33 just west of Plain City. Or even further West if you have a viable state route you can readily expand.

They should also try to figure out the 33 SE pile up off of 70 every damn day at rush hour. Pain in my ass getting to Pickerington for a baseball game at 6!
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
              Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

Hahaha you poor son of a bitch. They really need two lanes there.

There's almost always a backup where 70E crosses 270 too thanks to the fucked up cloverleaf design. I HAVE heard there are long-term plans to completely redesign that interchange but not before downtown is finally done.

He claims they leaked his emails. Or were going to leak his emails. I haven't actually seen them published anywhere. Unclear why he thinks these emails would represent an attempt to get his show taken off the air, like he claims.

And he was communicating with Russian intermediaries about getting an interview with Putin. That's how his communications got swept up at the NSA. Sort of like Michael Flynn calling the Russian ambassador and then cons throwing a fit that he was "spied on". Big shocker that the NSA spies on the Russian ambassador.

                        • Since I'm on the topic, Tucker Carlson is a notorious gossip queen that's lived his entire life in the Beltway or in exclusive coastal elite enclaves and socializes exclusively with the same media elites he bashes regularly on his show. You may have seen the article recently that he himself has been an "anonymous source" to numerous articles about the Trump White House or inside "scoops" about Fox News. He's an utter phony but kudos to his success at reinventing himself as a "populist".

His platform on Fox News made him a big player in Donald Trump’s circle. Off camera, he shapes the coverage of Trump’s world and Fox’s own internal politics.

either ABC or NBC got the Putin interview. I would have to wonder why the emails of those journalists weren't leaked by the NSA

He has the right to request a fucking interview lmao

oh, so that makes it perfectly fine for the government to spy on him, and leak his shit to rival outlets? gotcha.
