        • An internal FBI report reviewed by The Post is the starkest evidence yet of the sizable intelligence failure that preceded last week’s mayhem.

                • Isn't DC rather restrictive when it comes to firearms? I thought both handguns and long guns were open carry prohibited in the District, and that ammo has to be registered. "...at your personal discretion" sounds like a lame disclaimer for 'we didn't encourage breaking the firearms law at the Armed March On Capitol Hill.'

Break the law at your discretion by the law and order crowd.

Looks fake and glows in the dark. There's a reason why when people post violent threats on social media we call it "Fed posting".

                      • They're wasting their time marching on DC and state capitals. They really should focus on burning neighborhoods, looting department stores, and attacking police stations. Those activities are embraced by all Americans and are signs of loyal and patriotic citizens.

                          • Heh. Since Friday, Twitter's stock value has plummeted by about 8.4% That 8.4% represents about $3 Billion, give or take, by my calcs.

                              • This is a blunt assessment of the problem with global distribution of COVID vaccine by an agency with a credible background in dealing with pandemics and epidemics, The Aids Healthcare Foundation (AHF), Yes, it sounds like the long list of bleeding heart liberals that demands the wealthy world provide hand-outs to poor countries that are corrupt, poorly governed and therefore, according to some on the right, deserve to be exactly where they are.

The problem with that logic is that to end the pandemic and return to some level of normalcy requires that the poor get vaccinated. I've read some tremendous stories of countries with limited public health infrastructure doing amazing things to control the spread of SARS-2. They can do it because they are used to doing such things without technology or money to do it and have done it with with HIV/AIDS, ebola, malaria, TB and SARS/MERS. None of that work was done with vaccines (except TB). We now have a vaccine. The challenge is to get it as fast as possible to everyone on the globe. Failure to do that does two things (1) it allows SARS-2 to mutate in an environment where only partial measures are taken. Viruses under limited pressure will thrive through mutation. (2) A return to some level of normalcy won't happen most prominently global travel and the supply chain movement required for global commerce will be seriously blunted by boarder restrictions arising from uncontrolled viral spread in one country or region by counties that have some degree of control established.

A short and good read that dumps on the WHO and China along with wealthy nations buying up all the vaccines on the shelves now and in future production.
