BTW, and DSL will hate it, it looks like the stock markets have decided WWIII isn't going to happen. After a fall-back on Friday, it was down before the open today but quickly advanced on good economic news seemingly off-setting the rise in oil prices and the cost of insuring tankers carrying oil that everyone is wringing their hands over.
........ waiting for the Mullahs "to get revenge." Hurry up mother fuckers. Can't wait to see what that crazy "terrorist in a suit" occupying the WH does in response to whatever you manage to pull off.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

DJ ended up about 70 points - a nearly 300 point turnaround from futures lows before trading opened, DSL has to be struggling with his desire to protect his IRA growth with the evil Trump in the WH while looking forward to voting for socialism in November. Heh.
Big deal if Trump actually orders a full withdrawal from Iraq - a country that in the aftermath of American adventurism and influenced by Neocons under George Bush - sure as fuck put into the hands of terrorists and thugs no better than Saddam. It took me a while to throw most of Cheney's neocon buds (neoconism as defined by the American Enterprise Institute in the day and, yes, I know the differences) under the bus.
Invading Iraq without securing it entirely (we had the troops, air superiority and logistics to do that but Bush senior was a nice guy) and then advancing some kind of Marshall Plan under the administration of an allied NATO composed government ready to had it back to the regional Arabs who wanted to deal with it was just dumb. The unmitigated success of Desert Storm in the "mother of all battles" was squandered by the US. That's history. Huge mistake. Now it's time to fix it. GTFO.
Most will think, and probably correctly, that PDJT has blundered his way into extracting US troops from the ME and handing that tribal dominated religious mess of a sand box to the Chinese and the Russians.
I imagine that the restive billions residing there in mostly poverty from either their exploitation at the hands of oil rich kings or the failed socialist economic policies and empty promises of prosperity bestowed by Allah (LOL) of the PLO, Hamas and Iran will soon be clamoring for hand outs from them instead of the US ....... good! After a few years of that, they'll both be gone too.
BTW, the US needs basing rights in Iraq way less than Iraq needs the US's billions in aid. SA and the Gulf States friendly to the US love us. Iraqis will soon be under the foot of the Iranian Shia Mullahs who will be strongly opposed by the predominantly Sunni population of Iraq. Talk about a cluster fuck. Good riddance.
DSL, I still think Trump is a blithering idiot with the potential for a DSM-5 based diagnosis of personality disorder...... if a qualified MD would give it to him.Last edited by Jeff Buchanan; January 6, 2020, 04:37 PM.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished.
