Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

  • He's listening to the donor-class millionaire crowd he socializes with who are both terrified of Warren/Sanders and think Biden is a doddering old man. If he actually stays in for the long haul he's far more likely to hurt Biden than Warren/Sanders. But nowhere near enough to make his own campaign remotely competitive.

    • Nate Silver has been pointing out since this news broke that satisfaction among Democrat voters with their field of candidates is actually very HIGH. But the wealthy Dems who contribute the big bucks are panicking about Biden (possibly needlessly) and think Bloomberg is the white knight that'll come riding in to save them from Warren/Sanders. They are very, very wrong. Bloomberg may starve Biden of cash but will not really take away many of his voters. They should've just tried to coax that Starbucks guy back into the race.

                    • House GOP, to save Trump, may switch to a new strategy where Sondland, Giuliani, and even Mulvaney were running a shadow operation behind Trump's back

                      • I kind of thought the GOP might try to run back the Iran Contra strategy out of the corruption playbook. Logically it is nonsense to think that they weren't doing it at his pleasure, but 42 percent of the townspeople want to believe the Emperor's clothes are beautiful.

                        • Trump to sign an anti-animal cruelty bill. The article doesn't state the penalty - is it too much to hope that the cruelty the animal is subjected to is the penalty given the perp?

The PACT Act would be the first national law making severe animal cruelty and torture illegal. An earlier law only banned videos of such acts.

                              • I think Trump should comply with every subpoena issued by the House investigators. Send every witness they want. Let them give any testimony they want.

In the end, Trump is guaranteed to be acquitted by the Senate, and that will provide the momentum for him to be re-elected.

Bill Clinton would have won in a landslide following his Senate acquittal, had he been eligible to run. Fortunately the Constitution prevented that.
