Georgia's Speaker of the House is also a practicing defense attorney. It's claimed that he has used his position as Speaker to repeatedly delay his client's cases. In one, a man charged with a DUI has had his trial delayed 17 TIMES over the course of 10+ years thanks to Ralston saying none of the trial dates work for him. Another of his clients, who enticed and solicited a minor, has had his trial delayed since 2009 thanks to Ralston. Ralston appears to use his position as a Legislator as a reason for clients to hire him: he can delay their cases indefinitely by saying his Speakership duties prevent him from attending trials.

    • I love this, Trump whining again. "This was the illegal and treasonous 'insurance policy' in full action!" and "illegal coup attempt". Really? Who is the ultimate beneficiary of such a dastardly and nefarious deed (other than the American people)? That Deep State mastermind Mike Pence, that's who!

The US president vents anger at an "illegal act", amid claims there were discussions to oust him.

        • Jussie Smollett Offered Job At CNN After Fabricating News Story

Chicago (CNN) producers were reportedly impressed throughout the ongoing saga of Smollett's apparent hoax attack on himself. They realized early on the facts didn't add up but were fascinated with how well the actor kept the narrative going.

"Smollett has exactly the kind of skills we look for at our fine organization," said CNN correspondent Brian Stelter. "He picked a narrative, made up all the relevant facts and details, and stuck with his story in spite of glaring holes in the plot. It's hard to find people who understand our core values here at CNN, but Smollett seems to be just the guy for us."

          • Regular reminder that Roger Stone is trash. He posted a picture of the Judge is his case with what appears to be crosshairs near her head and the following text:

Hours later he deleted the post, claiming he definitely did not intend to threaten her in any way or disrespect the court (no disrespect intended when he said "the fix is in".)

Stone has a bail hearing tomorrow. Ought to be fun.

EDIT: oops, looks like ol' Roger is a wee bit nervous, so he filed an official apology with the Court. What a cuck.

it was a failed coup because Pence wasn't on board. neither was the majority of the cabinet.

the only real "evidence" McCabe had was a piece of oppo research he knew was from Clinton's campaign. he started an FBI investigation because Trump exercized his constitutional authority, and launched a counter intelligence investigation on Trump based on no evidence, based on no crime, but because he MUST have had help from Russia, because there was no way Hillary should have lost. that is why McCabe tried to remove a duly elected President of the United States.

I cannot believe Goodloe Sutton is getting press. He is editor/owner of a paper in a town of less than 2,000. He was a troll before there was an internet. He once had a headline that read, "Black Thugs from Selma murder White Man from Demopolis" (or something close). He has to be in his 80's. I know he is loving the attention.

                              • He once wrote an article that "Uniontown Smells Like Doo-Doo" - Uniontown is a small "rival" town of Sutton's small town of Linden.

Usually, he writes these articles when he needs the revenue. He once said that the "better" the headline, the bigger the demand. The papers sell out quickly when he spices them up. I have no doubt that he increased his run three-fold before he ran this latest piece.
