talent, you remarked a couple hundred posts up thread that I need not worry. AOC and her crowd are socialists.... or words to that affect. I KNOW these clowns are socialists. It's the dimwitted voters that lap the shit up they are putting out there that I'm worried about. Especially voters under 40. Kapture's Sanders quote is classic. All of them need to visit Havana or Caracas or any capital city in South America where Che's and Fidel's fantasies (purple unicorn economics - I like that) have created the worst possible economic outcomes for these people suffering under corrupt governments formed through them.

Another great post by Kapture of the Venezulan currency compared to the dollar. The CUP (Cuban Nacional Peso) is just about worthless compared to the dollar. If you are a non-Cuban tourist traveling to Cuba, you use the CUC which has a 1:1 ratio with the dollar. You can't use anything but CUCs in Cuba if you are a tourist. No US company credit cards either. It's a cash only deal...... and oh, BTW, the government charges a 13% tax when converting dollars to CUCs. So, you get 87 cents for a dollar. Canadians and Europeans have a different exchange rate. Americans traveling to Cuba, and there are millions of them, are supporting the corrupt Cuban government by doing so.

So, yeah, let's jump on Hack's bandwagon for "re-distributive economics" - the kind of economics Regan adopted (LOL) - the relationships between wages and taxes that those of us dinging the crazy shit the face of the dems are collectively putting out there "don't understand." Again ..... LOL.

Jeebus ...... I'm pretty much a moderate, a centrist, although I hate pigeon holing becasue it rarely defines a persons' political views, but even I get the drift to the left we're witnessing in the democratic party and see it's dangers. I just worry that under 40 voters don't see that.
