Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season

Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

    • Trump got his skill in manipulating value from his dad. One little example. In early September 1981, the Trump family submitted to the city a plan to convert one of the family-owned buildings into a co-op. They submitted an appraisal stating the building was worth $17.1 M.

Fred Trump Jr, Don's older brother, died 18 days later.

By that point Fred Sr. had transferred a huge portion of his real estate to his kids and Fred Jr. owned a stake of that building. When the time came to calculate his estate tax, Fred Sr. and Donald (who together controlled Fred Jr's Estate) submitted an appraisal of the same building.

It was worth $2.9 M they said.

Lots and lots of examples like that...that's not the alleged fraud though, which I think refers more to the creation of sham corporations in the part I haven't read yet.

      • The only reference to Robert E Lee was he betrayed his country in the name of slavery. Say he committed treason and that's all you need to know about him.

                • If this is true, she lied under oath, and should be prosecuted. There is no gray area here. Ford knowingly lied about Kavanaugh -- as opposed to sincerely misremembering -- she should go to prison.

even if you disagree with it. You might also consider why millions of people love itright now

                              right now.
I only disagree with the notion that the press has as much credibility as Goldberg suggests. I think they've long burned through that and the ash is stone cold.
