Interesting piece in the NY TImes that says America First Action, one of the biggest PACs associated with Trump, has begun to push the panic button a little bit over turnout. Apparently their focus groups keep finding that a majority of Trump voters don't believe the "blue wave" is a genuine possibility, it's just mainstream media #fakenews, and feel no urgency to vote in the midterms.
It prob doesn't help that Trump himself keeps saying a "red wave" is gonna happen and his biggest supporters in the media are taking his lead.
It's leading conservative groups to concentrate on base turnout rather than winning back moderates or independentsComment

Trump declares the Mueller investigation totally illegal twice in one post. Trump has the power to end the 'illegal investigation' with one 2-minute phone call. Wonder why he doesn't, if he considers his responsibility to uphold the law so important?
Also, in another example of Team Trump attempting to argue everything both ways, Mayor Rudy cites Bob Woodward's book as proof no collusion took place; Meanwhile Trump says Woodward is a liar, his book is nothing but lies, and everyone who opposes him is a lying liar that lies.Comment
