  • This one's a whopper and is full of deliberate lies or he's truly clueless about Ohio politics. Mary Taylor (Kasich's Lt. Gov) ran a heavily pro-Trump candidate. It was Dewine that was the more traditional, establishment, Kasich-like choice between the two. And Kasich's not unpopular. His approval ratings are significantly better than Trump

    • That is, of course, not true. But, categorizing PDJT's inaccuracies is a full-time job, so, meh...

From an elections standpoint, Franklin County (and D-base) increase its share of the vote by about 3% (from 35% to 38%). I don't know if that came at the expense of "Trump Country" counties or Kasich Counties (Delaware). In any event, that's not a bad way to look at the "enthusiasm" gap. I also think Balderson ran just a little off of PDJT in Delaware -- that's where I thought you'd see the biggest anti-PDJT effect. So, it's hard to take too much from this election. Of course, every single special election has seen the Ds run ahead of the district expected vote, so you'd think anything in the R +6 range is in play, especially with good candidates.

        • Putin's cock holster whining about Omarosa (via tweet):

"......really bad things. Nasty to people & would constantly miss meetings & work. When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser & nothing but problems. I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me - until she got fired!"

So, if you're incompetent and abrasive, you get hired and protected so long as you say GREAT things about President Dipshit. What an embarrassing circus.

I believe it was at the expense of the Trump counties but i'll have to look for what I read last week to demonstrate that. But I seem to recall reading that voter turnout in Morrow and Licking was way down compared to Delware/Franklin. Muskingum still had good turnout because local boy and all that.
