  • Boy, Kushner's having a rough day. First his security clearance is officially downgraded, then this story drops.

At least 4 countries (Mexico, Israel, the UAE, and China) privately believe they can manipulate Kushner due to his widespread financial debt and political naivete

    • Wikileaks and Roger Stone caught red-handed communicating during the campaign. It prob won't add up to much, but Wikileaks has angrily denied that neither Assange nor anyone at Wikileaks ever communicated with Stone. Someone leaked this to the Atlantic...prob a Dem on the Intel Committee.

Transcripts obtained by The Atlantic show that Donald Trump's longtime confidant corresponded with the radical-transparency group.

        • His downgrade to secret will last a month. Once the FBI finishes it's report, it will be submitted to the White House for final disposition. Chump will declare there's nothing preventing him from continuing his job and the TS-CI clearance will be restored.

Interesting that the downgrade is to secret. That's only one step above confidential - a T.O. Maintenance Manual for military aircraft is classified secret for pete's sake. How can someone charged with back channel Middle East duties function with only a secret clearance? Or will it be a case that relevant documents are funneled through him before having a security classification assigned? That becomes a huge security hole.

            • Reinstating the Franchise for traitors in our mutinous southern colonies was the most tragic error of the Reconstruction Era.

I, for one, believe that venomous Copperhead Horatio Seymour deserves much of the blame. Long may he rot in the grave

                1) A predilection for high treason
                2) The insistence that all food and drink be seasoned with peat
                3) He hath most grievously champion'd the cause of Bonnie Prince Charlie

                  • Putin's cock holster does nothing to deter his patrons in Moscow.

Rogers, director of both the U.S. Cyber Command and the National Security Agency, said he's taken steps to respond to the threat, but that neither President Donald Trump nor Defense Secretary James Mattis has granted him any additional authority to counter Russian efforts to sow discord in the United States.

The U.S. response to Russian meddling and disinformation campaigns has not been strong enough to deter Moscow's activities, a top intelligence official says.

                    • There were three special elections tonight for state house seats in New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Kentucky, all previously held by Republicans. Democrats won the new England seats, Republicans held onto the Kentucky one. Even in Kentucky though the Dems improved by 28 points over how Trump did.
