  • After weeks of hyping the memo up, Mollie Hemingway was just on Fox telling people not to expect too much from it. "Only a starting point". Incidentally, Nunes told Schiff that Republicans plan to start another investigation of the FBI/DOJ, which would make it the third separate investigation in the House/Senate.

Republicans think they've found the new Benghazi.

      • This must've been a massive project but it's a lot of fun to look at and teach people how much district lines can matter and how much your desired end goal matters as well.

Basically these guys created 7 new congressional district maps using 7 different models as guidance:

        * Create as many 'safe' Republican seats as possible.
        * Create as many 'safe' Democratic seats as possible
        * Create a map that generates as close to 'proportional representation as possible. In other words, if 60% of the state's votes went to Republicans, create a district map that results in Republicans having as close to 60% of the seats as possible.
        * Create the most compact districts possible while dividing no counties
        * Create the most competitive map possible
        * Create the most districts possible where whites are outnumbered by all minority groups combined
        * A computer algorithm that designed districts by compactness with no regard to county lines.

It's fun to tinker with the maps on here. BTW, the most competitive map they could generate had 94 safe Dem seats, 99 safe Republican seats, and 242 toss-ups. Going into the upcoming election there are only 72 seats considered toss-ups.

As politics in the U.S. has polarized along geographic and racial lines, drawing political maps has become a partisan arms race. Even the smallest decisions abo…

          • DNC CEO out after less than a year. What a disaster

Trump took the Dems strongest pandering issue off the table for 2018 by offering over twice the number of DACA protections, and the dems turned it down, a week before the SOTU. Totally bitched slapped the dems with their own issue.

Americans vote on the economy. Trump's handeling of the economy is a R +7 issue and rising more each day.

            • Sara Carter apparently just said on Hannity that the IG possibly has evidence that McCabe asked FBI agents change their 302's after their interview with Hillary. She said if true then he'll be formally fired this week and it could be viewed as Obstruction of Justice.

She's been doing amazing reporting lately of the IC, definitely has a solid source.

              • It seems only like yesterday that both houses of Congress, in veto proof margins, passed a Russian sanctions bill that Putin's cock holster signed. It requires that a list of oligarchs be created, a report of the effect of what sanctions will have on Russian debt, and that sanctions be imposed before January 30th. Well, the list came out. And a Trump lackey announced that Supreme Leader doesn't give a fuck about the law and won't impose sanctions. He's too busy doing a spectacular Linda Lovelace impersonation for his Russian master.

                  • Gerting closer each day to what i predicted back in Nov.

The IC was weaponized and used against a political opponent, used to clear the democratic nominee of serious crimes, and used to subvert the will of the people in atrempting to overthrow a democratically elected president.

                    • You folks are fucking delusional. If that's true, it should be determined. But there's absolutely no evidence that the "IC" has done anything improper to frame an innocent man.

It's a completely fabricated "scandal" (like Benghazi, Emails, birtherisn, IRS, etc) designed to insulate the Republican Party and its political allies from any oversight.

If any of the political leadership of the FBI asked an agent to change a 302, not only is that obstruction of justice but is a criminal act within the FBI's own regulations. 302s are the raw data from which everything else flows, and they are produced by field agents with no overt political agenda. Thing is particularly relevant in the Hillary investigation, given the field agents' objections to how that investigation was handled.

SLF, you claim to be an attorney. Can't you see the difference between Hillary's emails (under subpoena, bleachbit, destroyed hard drives, took classified documents to her home computer) and birtherism? Don't conflate criminal behavior with a nonsensical and easily debunked OPINION about Obama.

If it doesn't bother you that the IC might have defrauded the FISA court using opposition research paid for by Hillary and the DNC, then you have a remarkably low opinion of the fourth amendment. Even a troll would know better.
