Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

  • "No longer can we compound attacks on truth with our silent acquiescence. No longer can we turn a blind eye or a deaf ear to these assaults on our institutions. An American president who cannot take criticism -- who must constantly deflect and distort and distract -- who must find someone else to blame -- is charting a very dangerous path. And a Congress that fails to act as a check on the President adds to the danger."

"It is a testament to the condition of our democracy that our own President uses words infamously spoken by Joseph Stalin to describe his enemies. It bears noting that so fraught with malice was the phrase 'enemy of the people,' that even Nikita Khrushchev forbade its use, telling the Soviet Communist Party that the phrase had been introduced by Stalin for the purpose of 'annihilating such individuals' who disagreed with the supreme leader."

He most certainly is a Republican. Are you as reality challenged as Supreme Leader?

If he decided to run as an independent in 2020 he would get far more D than R votes

He's voted along Republican lines on almost all legislative matters. Maybe, just a sliver of possibility, he thinks Trump is just a piece of shit like most non troglodytes.

Laughable. Flake's had an A rating from the NRA. His most recent American Conservative Union rating was virtually identical to Devin Nunes, one of the Congessmen you consistently praise.

Being a true Republican means personal loyalty to Trump above any principle, according to Trump sycophants. Sad to see you go down that road, Geezer, but I guess you've figured (Cynically) if it takes a jackass to get you your tax cut, go all in with the jackass and defend him at all costs.

                      • Steve Bannon's lawyer was communicating with the White House during a congressional hearing and receiving orders on what the WH would and would not allow Bannon to talk about (they are trying to claim executive privilege for EVERYTHING after Election Day)

Congressional Republicans are apparently as pissed as Democrats but will they stand up for their own powers of oversight? Remains to be seen.

probably as many democrats that stood up to 0bama's executive privilege on the gun running to Mexican drug cartels that ended up killing Brian Terry.

Good to know, but why is his approval rating in the single digets?

How about posting any of my posts praising Nunes? You said it, now prove it.

                                I thought not
