Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

It provides little value when assessing a deranged, narcissitic meglomaniac that has difficulty conceptualizing and processing reality.

Have President Shit-For-Brains take an MMPI, a Lipace modified Bender-Gestalt, and the PCL-R for starters. We'll see how he stacks up as a "very stable genius". I bet he fails on both counts. Miserably.

Propaganda from the White House, ordering the examiner to field questions from the press. For the doc to trot out the MCA as an indication of Chump's sanity, is like using the ability to read a Dick and Jane book as a test for depth of literacy and comprehension. Bad theater designed to reassure the uninformed as well as the intellectually stunted base.

It does me too. Remember when many believed that questioning Hillary's health concerns were considered a partisan step too far?

Don't like DJT one bit but quibbling whether he really weighs 239 and a few other things seems a bit much.

                • Easier to ding him on that than to understand the policy issues or to admit we have a structural ethics challenge. That's pundits for you.

                  • I largely agree, especially with the dementia or diagnosis bit. The 25th amendment stuff is real nonsense especially. The "fix" for Trumps erratic and disturbing behavior is electoral. Period.

I will admit the weight thing bugs me. It is so so fucking disrespectful that he expects anyone to believe that. He blatantly and constantly lies. And does it poorly. And expects that people are stupid enough to believe it. That's the problem to me.

"No longer can we compound attacks on truth with our silent acquiescence. No longer can we turn a blind eye or a deaf ear to these assaults on our institutions. An American president who cannot take criticism -- who must constantly deflect and distort and distract -- who must find someone else to blame -- is charting a very dangerous path. And a Congress that fails to act as a check on the President adds to the danger."

"It is a testament to the condition of our democracy that our own President uses words infamously spoken by Joseph Stalin to describe his enemies. It bears noting that so fraught with malice was the phrase 'enemy of the people,' that even Nikita Khrushchev forbade its use, telling the Soviet Communist Party that the phrase had been introduced by Stalin for the purpose of 'annihilating such individuals' who disagreed with the supreme leader."

Sorry, but to compare Trump to Stalin, fucking ridiculous, even by your standard. No journalists have disappeared, the press has more access under Trump than they did under 0bama.

                          • I think 239 is plausible, it speaks to a lack of muscle mass (which is much heavier per sq cm), and he does look like he weighs a bit less than he did a year ago, but it doesn't matter a bit - except of course, if he does weigh more the fact that the admiral physician and his staff would lie about such a thing.

Did the staff allow him to state his height and weight or did they actually check it? More an indictment of them, imo, than DJT.
