Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season

Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

        • What's remarkable is none of the 'screaming heads' types have been shitcanned (so far). They're eliminating the actual reporters.

            • I like Stark, it's too bad. I do have some tangential experience with Disney cutting resources, they don't generally cut stuff but when they do, it is swift. They will make the decision and it is done pronto. The money spigot will be full force one moment and they will turn on a dime.

The ESPN stuff is a little different, the writing has been on the wall for a few years now. They have not been well prepared for the streaming revolution, but in their defense it's hard to go in that direction when you are relying on gigantic carriage fees.

                            • Trump has unilateral power over trade in a way that he does not over almost everything else. He doesn't need Congress in order to give the six-month-notice on NAFTA. This NAFTA thing is a 100-days thing. I wouldn't take it all that seriously either. Wilbur Ross said a month or so ago that ``when everyone knows you have the big bazooka, you probably won't actually need to use it". File this under that. It's a tactic. Not that it's OK. It's bullshit. But I don't think we should assume that NAFTA is toast. Every knife in DC would be out and ready.
