Stan ...... Geeze ain't a Catholic.
Even the Catholics, over the years, have moved beyond indoctrinating their followers into a one world view of religion and have come to realize there may be more than one way to understand a God, if there is one.
I particularly like Pope Francis ..... a genuinely good guy who said, "“If someone is gay and searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?”
Here's the Calvinist Reform Church's view:
"Homosexuality is a condition of disordered sexuality that reflects the brokenness of our sinful world."
TBF, I wanted to make sure that I did not broad brush the CRC's position on homosexualtity so, if you are so inclined, I've provided a link To Calvin College's statement on LGBT and Homosexuality.
I found this link to be instructive and leads to some understanding of how entity's that have strong anti-homosexuality histories deal with this in a modern day, contemporary setting. You can decide where the Calvinists stand on this issue in comparison to the Catholics and the other branches of Protestantism.
Introduction Calvin University seeks to be a community where LGBTQ+ persons are treated with respect, justice, grace and understanding in the Spirit of Christ. We recognize the complexity of current issues around sexuality, same-sex marriage, and gender identity. The university desires to engage these conversations with courage, humility, prayerfulness, and convicted civility. 1. What is Calvin’s position on homosexuality and same-sex marriage?Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Jeff's link is a fair summary of the way the CRC views homosexuality.
it begins:As the college of the Christian Reformed Church (CRC), Calvin holds to the position of the CRC on human sexuality, articulated in 1973 and 2002. That is to say, we believe that homosexual orientation is not a sin, and we strive to love our gay, lesbian, and bisexual students as ourselves, as God expects of us. We also affirm that physical sexual intimacy has its proper place in the context of heterosexual marriage
And...to keep the denominations, I'll quote a friend of mine:
Calvin College and the CRC are where the Elect of God are found. Their children go to Christian Schools.
Hope College and the RCA are peopled by Ofeskuiten. Their children go to Reform Schools.Last edited by Da Geezer; February 20, 2017, 07:31 PM.

Film director Apatow recently stated that having Trump as president is like being raped...
I may think trump is an egomaniac who can't control his temper and has no clue how not to be the bully boss, but comparing him to being raped...? This is a great example of what is wrong with debate in this country.
