In any event, the anti-Brexiters have posited a litany of terribles. It'll be interesting to see how the scorecard reads in several years. Very interesting.

Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.
Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.
If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!
Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Great. I'm sure those sorts of problems exist, and of course are going to be overplayed in media. This story is an egregious example of the very problem it is complaining about. 77,000 signatures is .02% of the total, not, as the article claims, ``a vast majority''. The people at the NRO know how to do math. They also know how unlikely it is that most fo their readers are going to check for themselves.

It will be. Europe is suddenly one of the more interesting regions on the planet. If post-neoliberalism is really a thing, then it'll be countries like the UK, Spain, France and maybe Italy will be where it is debated and takes an early shape.

I think that it will be even more interesting to see if the idea of a "Texit" ever becomes mainstream. If current immigration trends (along with lack of enforcement by the Feds + interference with states like Arizona & Texas to keep them from enacting tougher immigration laws) continue, I could see it being something that at least doesn't get laughed out of the room within a decade or so.

The British market has recouped all its losses from the vote. It took 4 business days.
I am waiting for the media to notice how much of the "$ 2 Trillion in lost wealth" has been "recovered". It appears the EU is talking seriously about taking in Turkey, and about a common military.

Bonds. Currency. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articl...te-bond-market. Britain's credit rating was downgraded. Cost of finance higher for the near/medium term. I think whatever happens short-term, the longterm outlook for the UK depends on how they negotiate the deal.
