  • nor does it consider the indoctrination in government schools that produce the Bernie Sanders' Youth whose guiding principle seems to be "gimme more free shit!".
Eh, my 13 year old has a teacher that is tells the kids that the earth is only 2000 years old, Evolution is a myth, Obama is not an American, the moon landings did not really happen, and Ted Cruze is the best thing that ever happened to America.

Sadly most of the kids agree with him on everything except the moon landings

My 18 year old, a freshman at Auburn bought Donald Trump hats as a joke. I told him he'll never get laid at college wearing a Trump hat. His response? "Dad. I go to Auburn"

I think the type of "indoc" kids get depends quite a bit on where you live.
I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

Yeah, if 10% of what hardline conservatives believe about the liberal indoc policies of education were true Nebraska would be blue state by now in lieu of voting Repub for President in every election of my lifetime.

Besides, to complain about Liberal indoc would seem to undermine the rhetoric that teachers cannot educate.

Celebrating someone's death... Amazing how poor of a human you've become. Just unbelievably bitter.

I'm hoping we never get to the point were we can't show civility towards the dead. Doesn't mean we had to agree with them, but certainly we shouldn't hope for or celebrate someone's death who didn't kill anyone, rape anyone or sleep with HS recruits....

I would say it isn't celebration...it's a willingness to look at the totality of a man's life.

If you opposed a person's policies while they were alive it's dishonest to praise them when they die as if they were some sort of hero to all mankind.

              • I'm willing to bet Entropy that you have never in your life read a single legal opinion from Scalia or have any idea what his position was as a member of the most elite group in the world. He attacked anyone who did not agree that the Constitution should be interpreted as what was understood by our founding fathers when it was written. In other words constitutional protections applied only to white men who owned property. Gays, women, children, minorities and consenting adults be damned. Tell me why such a legacy should be honored. As I proudly said before, it is a great day for America that he died in his sleep whole hunting at an exclusive white male retreat.

                • Before condemning me as becoming a poor human being that is unbelievably bitter, Entropy are you so naive to think that Obama isn't excited that he gets to name the successor to the most rabid right Justice on the Court?

                      • I am not celebrating Scalia's death because it appears to have been far less painful for him than it should have been. Drawn and quartered? ISIS decapitation? Tickled to death by OP and his crowd? THAT is something I'd celebrate.

                        • Ent, if you want to see a celebration of someone's death, wait until Dick Cheney dies. I might break out champagne that day.

Suspect it was the cheap elderberry doing the typing but "whole hunting"? Don't take a chance, bet you already booked your ticket for that gay bunny ranch in west Texas.

I'll be super glad when the utterly unprincipled Ginsburg is off the Court. If it comes via death, then, eh, take the bad with the good. So, I get where Stan is coming from, but the giddiness from the socialists is a bit disgusting.
