Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season

Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

Here's exactly where and when Hack ruins a perfectly good thread.

14th Street in Washington DC offers some pretty excellent cuisine. Unbeknown to OP of course but common knowledge to Hack, apparently this particular area of our nation's capitol is located in a "gay district"?

Honestly Hack, what the hell does that even mean?

I guess gays are prohibited from owning and working in the DC restaurant industry in Hack's world? This of course makes him a fascist homosexual of sorts, obviously a strange contradiction.

    Shame on you Hack.

        • 14th st = overpriced mediocrity in terms of food but certainly aesthetically pleasing. OP i guess cant tell the difference.

          • Thanks for clearing that up, who knew that enjoying a cup of coffee and a danish on 14th Street could be so complicated?

In the future, I will be sure to ask the ma?tre d'h?tel for a full staff list of sexual orientation prior to being seated and I will look for the "Fag-free"Environment sticker right next to Visa accepted here.

Yeah I'm taking Clemson and the points.

                      • I got hammered a couple of days ago by a nasty virus, brought in by the youngest's foray onto social media. AVG2015, Avast, Housecall, Malwarebytes, Spybot, Rkill, TDSSkiller, Symantic/Norton all could not find it. This evening, I tried (recommended by a co-worker) Combofix which found and removed it. Virus: Poweliks

That bedrock of truth and accuracy, the in-ter-net, reports that Symantic/Norton can find and remove it, but I found otherwise.

                        Combofix is free, as well.

                          • Downloading ComboFix. ComboFix is a program, created by sUBs, that scans your computer for known malware, and when found, attempts to clean these infections automatically. In addition to being able to remove a large amount of the most common and current malware, ComboFix also displays a report that can be used by trained helpers to remove malware that is not automatically removed by the program.
