  • You've never heard of an interview not being recorded? I have. Many times. I've also heard of witnesses refusing to be interviewed under oath and demanding to be interviewed at the same time.

And it's not surprising she could not remember picayune details from 8 years or more prior. And she did not say she could not remember things because of a concussion. She said she was out of the office and may have missed meetings due to her medical issues.
No, I've never heard of any interview done by the FBI that did not have an audio recording at a minimum. Never took part in one, and never heard of one.

Well, it turns out that she used 13 separate hand-held internet devices during her years as SOS. One was turned over to the FBI. One was destroyed. 11 are now missing and she doesn't know where they are.

She did say that she had a concussion and was unable to remember. She was only able to work part-time at the State Department because of her concussion, which I believe is another variation of the concussion excuse (the excuse used 39 times). She signed a document stating that she had attended a presentation required by the government about classified material, and now says she did not attend the seminar because of her concussion.

She used BleachBit on the phone she turned over to the FBI. Today's news is that up to 11 "archives", meaning zip drives or some such, are missing.

SLF, can you explain why Hillary was not asked at all about her intent in using BleachBit? If Comey had decided not to prosecute based on a rewriting of the Espionage Act, claiming Hillary had no intent, why no questions about intent?

I continue to believe that the core of this whole dust-up is that Hillary, and by extension, Bill and the foundations (CGI and Family), didn't want to have her electronic conversations subject to FOIA. I think she did that because she was selling influence to donors to the foundations. She is either devious, stupid or ill. Or all three.

Also Greta Van Oj Facelift resigns immediately at Fox citing "it no longer feels like home".

                      • Congratulations to Chicago for tipping on over 500 homicides for the year. I have to think the agreement to allow the ACLU to review ever investigatory stop is paying big dividends. The AA community is more safe from police violence than ever. Huzzah.

On the same topic, the California legislature has passed mandatory minimums for rape/sexual assault. This is in response to the Stanford swimmer who was convicted of the same thing Nate Parker was accused of but only served 3 months. This is the same legislature that is remarkably progressive in its treatment of mandatory minimums to guard against/prevent the dreaded "warehousing" of AAs. I wonder if the California legislature believes this won't disproportionately affect AAs...or in unicorns.

Policy based on outlier conduct. One crazy ass judge causes, IMO, a bad policy decision. It's the way of the world...and it's amplified in today's era uber-connectivity and self-righteousness, but it's still an awful way to govern.
