You have the luxury of being a certified loon: that your dead brain, while humorous, probably costs brain cells. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves brain cells! You don't want the truth, because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me in this forum. You need me in this forum. We use words like "STFU", "shaddup", "stifle the fuck up". We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline! I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very sanity that I provide, and then QUESTIONS the manner in which I provide it! I would rather you just said "thank you", and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a fucking clue, and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think you are entitled to!

(2) Few argue that the US government is both efficient and appropriately staffed to carry out the purpose of our government as it was originally defined by the framers. Instead, most think it is bloated and expensive and should be reduced in size at multiple levels, including a reduction in the workforce.
The conservatives here, and I can speak only for myself, embrace the underlying arguments for Trump's approach to governance. You don't have to like the guy to do that. You don't have to like the process that is often uncomfortable. What is necessary, IMO, is to avoid jumping to conclusions about the potential success or failure of these processes. You guys aren't alone in doing that. The peanut gallery is vocally active as critics before a result is obtained. My view is that is more dangerous than being open minded.

Ordering the Code Red was stupid and he really overrated his importance in life. You are taking the wrong lesson out of that movie.

It's not that hard, they didn't like Santiago and he wasn't cut out for it and was requesting a transfer. Just let him go, killing him was not the answer! Jessup was wrong and it's great that he got to rot in jail.Last edited by froot loops; April 2, 2025, 12:38 PM.

Anyway, congrats to all the MAGA voters in Michigan who are about to be liberated from their jobs thanks to TRUMP!!! WINNING!!!!!
But you libs can take heart. The MSC is now fully controlled by libs, and Gretch can pretty much do whatever she pleases. Last I knew she was somewhere over in Ireland, hoisting pints and trying to get them to send some business our way. I have no idea what Ireland has that Michigan needs. But oh well.
As for Trump, I actually don't really like the guy. He's divisive, arrogant, and has really stupid ideas that he never should have even thought of. (Greenland, Canada as a US state, etc) But nobody among the liberal elite in here has been able to tell me how and why Kamala Harris would be a better president than Trump. If you decide to take that challenge, please be specific. What policies and laws did she propose that would have been better? All I heard during the election season was, "she's not Trump". Yeah. We got that. Now tell me what she proposed that would have been better for the country.
Convince me with facts instead of bombarding me with memes.Right before sweet potatoes are mashed, they get very quiet. This is known as the silence of the yams
