Froot, we post in a forum that has loons, and those loons have to be tempered by posters with brains. Who's gonna do it? You? You, CGVT? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. He's the villain, he gets arrested at the end and his actions make no sense. He should have just transferred Santiago out of Guantanamo Bay. You three Lib boys, seem to believe you've successfully dismissed conservative arguments in support of DJT's tariffs and DOGE forced reduction in the government workforce. You also seemed to have dismissed out of hand the underlying arguments supporting planned tariffs and government workforce reduction: (1) to rectify imbalances of trade with targeted countries (see exhaustive lists of these in the USTR). (2) Few argue that the US government is both efficient and appropriately staffed to carry out the purpose of our government as it was originally defined by the framers. Instead, most think it is bloated and expensive and should be reduced in size at multiple levels, including a reduction in the workforce.

The conservatives here, and I can speak only for myself, embrace the underlying arguments for Trump's approach to governance. You don't have to like the guy to do that. You don't have to like the process that is often uncomfortable. What is necessary, IMO, is to avoid jumping to conclusions about the potential success or failure of these processes. You guys aren't alone in doing that. The peanut gallery is vocally active as critics before a result is obtained. My view is that is more dangerous than being open minded.

Anyway, congrats to all the MAGA voters in Michigan who are about to be liberated from their jobs thanks to TRUMP!!! WINNING!!!!!

Nothing that Trump has done, or will do, has had the negative effects on Michigan jobs that "Governor" Gretchen Whitmer has had on Michigan. Her self-entitled policies have damaged many Michigan businesses beyond repair. You can go to almost any small town in Michigan and see remnants of businesses that were once thriving, but are now boarded up. All due to Gretchen Whitmer. It would have been worse, had not the Michigan Supreme Court reeled her in.

But you libs can take heart. The MSC is now fully controlled by libs, and Gretch can pretty much do whatever she pleases. Last I knew she was somewhere over in Ireland, hoisting pints and trying to get them to send some business our way. I have no idea what Ireland has that Michigan needs. But oh well.

As for Trump, I actually don't really like the guy. He's divisive, arrogant, and has really stupid ideas that he never should have even thought of. (Greenland, Canada as a US state, etc) But nobody among the liberal elite in here has been able to tell me how and why Kamala Harris would be a better president than Trump. If you decide to take that challenge, please be specific. What policies and laws did she propose that would have been better? All I heard during the election season was, "she's not Trump". Yeah. We got that. Now tell me what she proposed that would have been better for the country.

Convince me with facts instead of bombarding me with memes.
