FTR, .. I don't applaud everything the man does. I do think its good to get back to having a President who is actually doing things, instead of leaving everything to his wife and selected friends.

I fail to see why its a bad thing to seek out where the government is wasting money on foolishness and stop it from happening.

I think its great the way he's telling allies that they need to start coughing up more money and resources to defend themselves, instead of relying on us to do it all.

I think Canada and Mexico should put on their big boy pants and stop bad guys from entering the US from their territory, and allowing drugs to pass thru as well. Stop it already. And personally, I'd be fine if Trump told Mexico that if they don't take care of the cartels that they might just see some Navy Seals or Army Rangers visiting their territory to take care of it themselves.

And regarding Canada turning off the light switch to Michigan and other states. I think we BUY that power from them. So, .. they don't want our money? The US dollar is trading at about $1.20 against the Canadian dollar. Oh well. I guess we'll rely on our own power, and keep our dollars.

I think the Democrats are behaving like petulant little children who have been scolded and told "no" for the first time in their lives. I don't think men should compete against women, and I don't think men should be on women's teams. If a man wants to become a woman, then get the surgery, and go thru with it. I will say that it's a modest margin AND the Ds ran the two worst conceivable candidates ever. I think they can pick up an easy 1-2 points with someone who is vaguely competent. Now, of course, they also ran against DJT and managed to lose to him.

That said, they have a massive working class issue that isn't getting resolved. The great re-sorting of the parties is, I think, unstoppable at the moment. The open question remains whether they can offset that thrashing with suburban voters -- and for that they need to be saner than DJT -- which you would think is a low bar. But, here we are.
