Also read that traffic into Reagan National has been steadily increasing in recent years. A lot of Congressmen from the West have pressured DC into letting more direct flights from the western US land there instead of at Dulles (which everyone hates for legit reasons). It only has one runway long enough for big planes and a guy was on CNN saying that it's the single busiest runway in the US.
