But seriously, if a "midwest farmer" knowingly employed an illegal that they knew was also a criminal, I'd say they should be arrested and charged with harboring a criminal.
IMO, this is part of the package. Farmers and other employers need to see green cards or other legal work permits for any of those who are immigrants. Sorry, but its the law. I am puzzled as to why enforcing American immigration law is equated with nazism.I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle

Release the Epstein files, Mr. President! C'mon your voters have wanted that for years! What's the holdup?
And I agree with you about the Epstein files. He probably needs more than 6 days on the job to get it done, but I think those files need to be released.I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle

Epstein was arrested for the second time and died in prison on Trump's watch. He didn't release anything related to him in his first term either, despite constantly making empty promises that all will be revealed one day.Last edited by Dr. Strangelove; Yesterday, 09:25 AM.

And if you want to seriously crack down, head out to rural America and start at the farms and slaughterhouses.

Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Just make every employer do e-verify. That should be first on Trump's if he really wants to attack the issue. People come here for jobs, they are willing to pick the crops. Arrest the businessmen who continue to hire people who they know to be illegal immigrants. To deny farmers in rural America are not hiring these people is denying reality. Maybe it's because Fox News doesn't tell the average MAGA about this.

The raids on Jersey City bodegas to catch 2 to 3 guys at a time are peanuts compared to the serious numbers you'd catch if you raided a major produce farm.
At any rate, anyone who is here illegally is breaking the law. Be it in NY, Ohio, Michigan or California. At some point they're going to be dealt with, and its the right thing to do. Special emphasis on criminals who have come here illegally, go to the head of the line to be deported. And that's the right thing to do. And those who knowingly hide them, should be subject to legal action as well.
