    • Far right members within Bibi's coalition government have threatened to quit if he enters into an agreement with Hamas. This group from the start has opposed a ceasefire with Hamas and are forcing Netanyahu to make good on his tough talk of wiping out the military and political structures of Hamas in Gaza. He's delayed a cabinet vote on the useless piece of paper that is the press's hyped "agreement" between Hamas and Israel.

The political right wing in Israel is 100% correct to oppose the agreement. Bibi needs to bomb Hamas in Gaza and wherever these terrorist cowards are hiding out among civilians until officials claiming to represent the terrorists formally surrender and sign documents to codify it. An uprising to unseat the Hamas terrorists by the Palestinian people is way past due. Hamas has brought nothing but unspeakable hardship and death to them.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

So Trump forced Bibi into a bad deal, is what you're saying?

And the Israeli far right can fuck off.

            • WIthin the last hour it's being reported that the "snags" that delayed the approval of the ceasefire deal by Israel's Security Cabinet have been resolved and the Security Cabinet has approved the ceasefire. The full parliament has still not met to approve it. Also being reported is that some of the right wing opposition has said, they won't bring the government down over this implying they don't like the terms of the deal but the release of hostages takes precedence.

I think there is some realization by Netanyahu and political supporters of the end-game of the war should be the destruction of the military and political wings of Hamas is unachievable. The shadowy, amorphous aspects of Hamas as a governing entity and it's military wing hidden amongst civilians makes it so. Who is going to govern and potentially rebuild Gaza isn't clear in this first phase and is yet TBD. I do not think Netanyahu wants Hamas to have anything to do with governing Gaza but Hamas insists it is an elected government and will return to run the place. It is pretty obvious that SA and Egypt, among other Arab governments not Iran, are pretty sick of Hamas/Iran and the instability that governing entity has brought to the ME by it's hardline stance advocating the destruction of the Israeli state. It's also pretty obvious that isn't going to happen and the fall of the Assad regime in Syria is a blow to the goals of the Islamic resistance.

It's too bad that governments involved and/or invested in the shit-storm that is the ME don't have the political stomach to use military force, at all humanitarian costs, to eliminate Hamas as a governing organization of the Palestinians with it's terror tactics propping them up. The combined resources to do this are there but for the political pressures involving the death of civilians opposing it.

              • DSL, TBH, I don't think anyone knows what role DJT or his people played in the purported negotiations between involved parties and Israel. What I'm pretty certain of is that Trump will claim he's responsible for the peace deal ........ and when it ultimately collapses, and it will, he'll claim not his fault.

                • Actual Israelis not as enthusiastic for endless war as those around here. 72% support a ceasefire for hostages deal. Only 13% against.

Of course no one can know with 100% certainty what role Trump played but I can say with certainty how he feels about the deal. He thinks it's great, has been taking full credit, and has been spiking the football over it for 2 days.

Every one of you that thinks it's a bad deal (I don't have much of an opinion either way) has been strategically ignoring what the guy you voted for is saying about it. Instead you castigate the MEDIA for hyping up this "worthless" agreement lol

But will it be enforced? Biden's gutlessly saying he won't enforce it on his way out the door and Trump seems unlikely to enforce it either.

Some of the biggest, toughest guys in the IDF and Mossad came up to me with tears in their eyes, sir, guys who didn't cry at their mother's funeral, but they're crying now and they wanted to thank you for what you've done.
